KAITHAL: Under the guidelines of Superintendent of Police Upasana, a missing cell team formed under the leadership of PSI Sumit and including ASI Ishwar Singh, female head constable Saroj and female constable Sheetal, to search for the missing persons. The team has done a commendable job and has safely recovered a missing 14-year-old teenager and handed him over to his family.
Giving information, the police spokesperson said that according to the complaint of a person resident of Mayapuri Colony, Karnal Road, Kaithal, his 13-year-old son went missing from home without informing on October 24, 2024. Despite extensive searches, when no clues were found, the matter was reported to the police. Regarding which a case was registered in Civil Lines police station. The Missing Cell police team took forward the investigation based on technical assistance, local information and sustained efforts.
During investigation, it came to light that an unknown person had lured the teenager by intoxicating him and took him to Haridwar. Where the young man was made to work in a hotel for some time. Later the young man ran away from there and went to Amritsar by train and, unable to reveal his address, started staying with a person in Amritsar. The police team took prompt action and recovered the teenager safely from Amritsar now .
